I sat a few feet away from a guy playing one of the slot machines. In the space of about fifteen minutes he made $74, and cashed out before he could start losing. Memecoins remind me of that.
Last week I was chatting with one of my aerial buddies and she said, "you don't know my story, do you? I had my crypto account hacked and drained two years ago. Then they used the transfer mechanism to drain my bank accounts. It was all my life savings."
Pernilla is a year older than me, so 68, and one of the most positive, happy, energetic people I know. She told me a little about her process of getting over this, and realizing that she was trusting in herself rather than trusting in God--by which she would mean goddess. She looks back now and says that it was the best thing that ever happened--not that she wouldn't have it back if she could. But it pushed her to start her YT channel and get into mentoring, and using her higher gifts. She also makes sure she always has housemates to make the mortgage. But she doesn't worry about holding tight and being prepared for whatever might happen. She has a deep level of trust it's going to be okay.
If I start doing interviews, I want to record a conversation with her. It really astounded me. Thanks for drawing back the curtain on these inner workings, Gabe.
