A new vision for cyberspace
I'm going to begin publishing a new exclusive for paid substack subscribers. Just like Reclaiming Territory in Cyberspace, all the material will be released on my personal blog a good while after the series is complete.
The Rebuilding the Net series will be where I explore and evaluate many different proposals and projects aimed at changing the way we live our digital lives. I will use all my knowledge to harshly critique many projects and ideas without holding back at all. While I generally support people choosing what suits them, this will be my place to express opinionated preferences to share a comprehensive vision of where things could be.

More About Rebuilding the Net
Many projects will make assumptions that involve radical departures away from what already exists. While in some cases this may be necessary, a lot of value needs to be demonstrated to overcome the efficiency of using what already works. it’s very often true that there are excellent forgotten gems that merely need to be reintroduced to people.
Rebuilding the Net will cover every aspect of our digital lives all the way down from the physical reality of hardware components, all the way up to machine learning and sleek applications for all our novel needs.

I read everything you put out, so the monthly recaps are only a way of seeing if I missed anything and the occasional boost of a post from a different stacker. Since you’re starting a different series, perhaps do a quarterly recap instead? I don’t think you need it, it’s just a nice extra feature.
The monthlies are good and from my perspective necessary due to to how much is changing in our world. You are also speaking to a relatively naive group of people & the frequency may help with getting the message out to EDUCATE the unwashed masses.
